Hannover. The "Neue Presse" newspaper in Hannover is choosing the athletes of the year again - this year for the 29th time. Hannover United has won big in the last two years. In 2021, United won the categories "Team of the Year", and Dutch Paralympics Champion Mariska Beijer was named "Sportswoman on the Year". In 2022, United fans, the wheelchair basketball community and many readers voted Hannover United Third in the category "Team of the Year" - inclusive a big players night in Theater am Aegi.
